HATIM Valedictory Ceremony 2025

The Higher and Technical Institute, Mizoram (HATIM) successfully organized its Valedictory Ceremony for the graduating class of 2025 under the leadership of Dr. R. Lalnunthara, Principal of HATIM. The event was held with great dignity and was attended by special invitees, faculty members, students, and parents.

The programme began with a formal procession, followed by a congregational hymn, “How Great Thou Art,” sung by all attendees. Rev. Vanlalmuankima, AGS (Service), BCM, led the invocation prayer.

Graduands were formally introduced and commissioned by the Principal and Heads of Departments. They took an oath and offered a prayer, committing themselves to uphold the values instilled in them during their time at HATIM.

The Chief Guest, Pi Lalrinpuii, Hon’ble Minister, delivered an inspiring valedictory address, encouraging students to strive for excellence in every field of life. Awards were then distributed by Mr. H. Lalrutakima, Assistant Professor at HATIM. These included the Proficiency Awards for departmental toppers and the prestigious HATIM Award for overall excellence.

The valedictorian speech was delivered by Naomi Lalruatdiki, a final semester student from the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programme. Her speech was heartfelt and reflective of the collective journey of the graduating class.

The institute’s annual magazine was officially released by Rev. RC. Lalthanzama, Director, Education Department, BCM. The Vote of Thanks was presented by the Vice Principal, followed by a Benediction from Rev. Dr. H. Lalthlamuana, General Secretary, BCM.

The ceremony concluded with an official photo session, and a dinner was served at the Conference Hall, HATIM, marking a joyous end to the day’s celebration.
